Wreaths Across America at Arlington National Cemetery, VA

Event Date

REMEMBER our fallen U.S. veterans.
HONOR those who serve.
TEACH your children the value of freedom.

On December 16, 2017, Wreaths Across America will be at Arlington National Cemetery to Remember and Honor our veterans through the laying of Remembrance wreaths on the graves of our country's fallen heroes and the act of saying the name of each and every veteran aloud. If you would like to participate in the wreath-laying, and attend the ceremonies occurring that day throughout the cemetery, we will be carpooling down with our children early Saturday morning. We would love it if you join the caravan. We will meet at the John F. Kennedy eternal flame at 9:00 a.m. so we can go the ceremony together before laying the wreaths. The gates into Arlington Cemetery will be opened to the general public at 8:00am and Wreath placement will begin at approximately 10:00am after a brief Opening Ceremony starting at approximately 9:30am at the McClellan Arch Gate located just off Eisenhower Drive.
